Real Madrid overtake Manchester United in baseball wealthy record - Yahoo! Eurosport UK (weblog)

When Real Madrid went up against Manchester United in the Champions League last month the entire of Europe was transfixed. True arrived on the scene winners of this experience, comfortably outplaying United - and now the Spanish giants have acquired another important victory over their Mancunian competitors. That's because Real have now compromised Manchester United's top spot in the Forbes list of the world's most effective soccer clubs. Top spot had been held by united since business analyst Forbes began compiling the list in 2004, but have now been overtaken for the very first time by the Madrid leaders. Barcelona come in third place and Arsenal fourth in front of Bayern Munich in sixth place. Its financial muscle is shown by the Premier League with eight groups in the utmost effective 20; the Bundesliga and Serie A equally have four sides; Spain has only Real Madrid and Barcelona; France also two; and Brazil has one. True Madrid are valued at A2.15 million, making the Spanish team the absolute most useful sports franchise in the entire world, with United perhaps not far behind on A2.07bn. Mark Beckham still tops the listing of highest-earning participants with profits of A33m, A29m of which originated from recommendations.
