Their disappointing Premier League campaign could be soon found by newcastle charging them more than they bargained for. Goalkeeper Tim Krul has been strongly connected with a shift from Tyneside to AC Milan this summer, with The Mirror reporting that the Holland international is being set up as an alternative for veteran Christian Abbiati, who'll be 36 in July. Krul, 25, has been led for the rest of the year with a shoulder injury, but that has not ended the Serie A leaders maintaining a keen curiosity about the person, reports the paper. Newcastle have failed to keep the heights of last year once they were challenging for a Champions League area up to the closing day of the plan. Alan Pardew's team are currently required at the incorrect end of the table and are six points above the drop zone. Expect Krul to start at the opportunity of changing black and white for black and red next year.
