Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says he's never regarded joining Real Madrid because of his connections with former team Barcelona. Toure had a trophy-laden cause in Spain, enjoying 74 situations for the Spanish giants and earning eight competitions including two Liga titles and the Champions League. But, when asked whether he would look at a go on to their intense opponents Real Madrid, Toure demands that it absolutely was something that had not entered his mind. "I have never considered likely to Madrid since I've been a Barca fan for may years," Toure told RAC1. "Madrid certainly are a great team nonetheless it could be very difficult to play against Barca. "Barcelona have been the most important staff if you ask me. They're an example for hard workers and determined participants like Xavi and [Carles] Puyol, but also for the fans. They're the very best group in the world." The Spanish giants were stated to be interested in Toure's City team-mate Sergio Aguero lately, and the Ivory Coast global admits that turning down the Camp Nou will be a tough decision to produce. "It is difficult to say no to Barca," he added. "You can not say no to having fun with Xavi, [Lionel] Messi and [Gerard] Pique. The arrival of [Ferran] Soriano and Txiki [Begiristain] helped a lot. Txiki is a superb professional and I am sure the club will continue steadily to develop together. Hopefully we can achieve Barcelona's degree one day." Toure says that regardless of the Blaugrana experiencing a "difficult" tie against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, he fancies his former side to progress. "The game against Bayern will be very difficult, but Barca are always favourites for me," he continued. "There are always difficulties in the Champions League, like against Milan, but in my opinion that Barca's quality - and Messi's especially - may choose the game."
