Robert Lewandowski Can Have Signed For Blackburn When It Wasnat For a Volcanic Ash Cloud

Itas incredible to trust, but Robert Lewandowski could have signed for Blackburn Rovers this season if it wasnat for the plans were ruined by an Icelandic volcanic ash cloud. Robert Lewandowski was playing for Polish part Lech Poznan this year. He was due to fly in to the state to meet with Blackburn representatives to talk about a move, but due to the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud, all flights were canceled. Consequently, Borussia Dortmund could actually break in and sign the Polish striker as an alternative. A transfer payment of A4 million would have been enough for Blackburn Rovers to sign Lewandowski. aHe got the invitation [from Blackburn], but as a result of termination of the flights he could not go, and no sense is made by it to drive,a said Lewandowskias representative, Cezary Kucharski. Imagine where Blackburn Rovers has been today if Lewandowski had closed for the club that's currently near the base of the nPower Championship.
