Clark came back to teaching yesterday for the first time since reporting straight back from Republic of Ireland job with a neck injury a week ago. John Vlaar and Nathan Baker have been in key defense throughout Clarkas absence for the defeat to Liverpool and the win at Stoke. Clark made his first-team debut in a Villa Park victory on the Cottagers in August 2009 and has now made 73 begins and six substitutes performances for the claret and blues, scoring eight objectives. Director Paul Lambert says Villaas medics may check on the 23-year-old defenderas conditioning after teaching today to determine whether he can join the matchday group tomorrow.
