Marcos Alonso's commitment and the subsequent shift rumors surrounding the defender have been a hot topic of debate round the Reebok Stadium. After couple of years of sitting on the seat after arriving as a relatively) high-priced buy from Real Madrid, Alonso was finally given steady beginning time with Bolton Wanderers and kicked on from there. Certain, his defensive location continues to be suspect, but when Marcos Alonso retains going the way he has, there is no question that he might be a key piece for the Trotters in the forseeable future. Well, that is if Marcos Alonso chooses to extend his Bolton Wanderers keep. The defender's contract runs out at the conclusion of the current time. I have only viewed my watch and that is (gasp) perhaps not a long way away. As a result, other groups have already formed a queue for if/when Marcos leaves the Trotters and Fiorentina have been the front-runners for the last few months. Rumor has it that La Viola are offering Alonso somewhere in the neighborhood of double the wages he makes at Bolton Wanderers and are strong contenders for a location in Europe next season. These are a couple of things that the Trotters simply cannot supply. Therefore, what can keep Marcos at the Reebok, you ask? The promise of steady playing time and development as a new player. While living at Fiorentina would be grand for Alonso, he would probably spend the vast majority on the bench or in the stores. All the above has persuaded Dougie Freedman to touch upon Alonso's commitment situation at yesterday's pre-Bristol City presser: "He is really a fantastic fella to operate with, and he is looking around and seeing his options, but we're in the look with everybody else. "I won't put the club's budget in danger with regards to breaking the lender. I do not think that is right. A player will stay with me because he feels he'll develop. "He has been enjoying well," Freedman said. "He is the kind of task I like to work with. "He has got that great system, he's eager to do well, he is not recognized yet nonetheless it is getting to the period when Marcos has got to decide if that's the best career move for him or not. "I can't change how I assist participants. I'll perhaps not be irresponsible because I genuinely believe that may be the right method to manage a soccer club".
