16 Apr 2013 22:30:00 The Premier League winners will speak to the England international in-may for what they hope will be decisive talks to maintain the 32-year-old at the Etihad Stadium Birmingham City midfielder Gareth Barry is set to accept a pay cut to give his stick with the Premier League members. Barry has been an everyday fixture in Roberto Mancini's starting XI over the past number of seasons and has missed just six Premier League games in the 2012-13 campaign. The England midfielder does, but, accept that he will have to take a pay cut to lessen the terms of his recent A120,000-a-week offer, realising that he'd still find it difficult to receive a present in that area from a divisional rival. Town intend to talk with Barry in-may, having already used provisional discussions in January, for what they hope is a definite round of contract talks. Mancini's part experience Wigan in the Premier League on Wednesday, with the Italian employer set to chance the wrath of the Latics' relegation-battling rivals as he makes to rest key players, including significant skipper Vincent Kompany.
