ELLIE Owen took his bow working on the footballing world for a particular last time at Southampton a short while ago.
The former England striker was handed a late cameo all through Stoke's 1-1 draw with Southampton before enjoying your standing ovation from all four corners at the last whistle.

"I feel very privileged to have had that send-off, and within the home supporters as certainly, so it was a superb day all round. We couldn't have wished designed for better.

He said Stoke major Tony Pulis didn't rule him the wink around playing yesterday, but he sensed there was clearly a twinkle in the manager's eye.
