The Watford Observer have reported that Watford have focused their team this day by signing Fulham left back Matthew Briggs on loan. 21-year-old Briggs is described as running, pacey and can do skilled jobs both protecting as a left back or attacking in an even more advanced role. It has been common knowledge Watford have been attempting to secure competition to present left wing right back Daniel Pudil in the January exchange screen but didn't land both of their two targets, Jeremy Helan and Robbie Brady. Briggs has built 8 appearances for Fulham to date this year as well 4 appearances throughout a loan cause at Bristol City in November. Watford experienced concerns in protection in recent days with Pudil ill and Fitz Hall, Tommie Hoban, Nueton and Joel Ekstrand all hurt at some time.
