Manchester United and Barcelona target acknowledges interest from groups - GiveMeFootball.com

Manchester United and Barcelona move target Ezequiel Garay has mentioned he is aware of interest from the two clubs. Scouts from both clubs have already been monitoring the Argentine recently, resulting in rumours he could keep Benfica in the summer. "I know of United and Barca," he told O Jogo. Garay happens to be away with the Argentina squad and played the full 90 minutes within their 3-0 win over Venezuela on Saturday morning. The win served concrete Argentina's position at the very top of the South American World Cup Qualifying table and the main opponent can also be expected to begin when his part go Bolivia on Tuesday. Garay joined Benfica in 2011 from Real Madrid for a price of a5.5million after three years with the Spanish side and, after a line of great shows for the Portuguese team in 2010, he's attracted the interest of Manchester United and Barcelona. However, the 26-year-old has admitted that he is not getting overly enthusiastic by the reports. "I still have 2 yrs left on this contract with Benfica, and now I just think about that and it is the only commitment I've in my head," he added. "I am just thinking about Benfica."
