Man Utd's Valencia tips Rafael to be one of world's best right-backs - The Sport Review

The Brazil international, 22, has been one of the club's standout performers this season, growing into the full-back role since Gary Neville's retirement and John O'Shea's switch to Sunderland.

Da Silva has scored three goals in 22 Premier League appearances, and Valencia has been impressed by the youngster's improvement over the course of the season.

"It's incredible how much he's improved," said Valencia. "I've seen a big improvement in his level of concentration.

While Rafael has been impressive, Valencia has struggled to maintain his eye-catching performances after an injury-hit campaign.

"I admire and learn from Ryan Giggs and Nani every day. They are great pros and players who work hard to become the best they can be. Ryan's desire to win is as strong as ever."
