Your Shield burst onto the scene about 6 months ago and has made a giant impact in the WWE. The group started targeting the most notable talent in the provider and immediately made some name for itself.
Stables had been a significant thing through the entire years in professional struggling. Groups like the And. W. O, the Four Horseman, Evolution and D-Generation X all made significant effects that helped change the landscape on their respective companies.
After months of ambushing best Superstars and winning every last six-man tag team match that it was involved in, The Defend captured some gold.
At Extreme Rules yesterday morning, Dean Ambrose beat Kofi Kingston for the country Championship, and the team associated with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins defeated Team Hell No to your Tag Team titles.
With three belts currently within the stable, is that all the trio might get? Or will The Shield pursue to accrue more titles?
The initial feeling about The Guard was that Ambrose was a- and the other a pair of were supporting cast members. However, the more there is seen of the crew, the more we have realized that all those three members have pretty much an equal amount from talent and potential.
At this moment, The Shield could split up and Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins would probably be fine automatically. But the longer that group stays together, the stronger it will eventually become and the more gold it would capture.
The three other competition The Shield has yet to win will be the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Shining and Intercontinental Championship.
The most realistic belt it could go for next would be the Intercontinental Championship. But today, Wade Barrett holds that title and she's a heel as well.
The World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Championship could come further later on because they are obviously the two most prestigious titles within the company.
I think The Defend should set its sights in the Intercontinental Championship. That strategy, it could have the different titles in the WWE, except the 2 main top belts.
If two members maintain individual championship belts (the Intercontinental and Us Championships), it could produce a situation where one customer is jealous or seen as the weakest link.
In any event ., another belt within this group could open up so much more opportunities for the group and the WWE. At the rate this dominant stable it would, I wouldn't be surprised if we read the Shield holding another championship belt in the future.
